Fly Fishing In Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania

The Birthplace of American Fly Fishing

General Info: No other state has such a long and storied history with fly fishing. Some of the world's most recognizable flies came from Pennsylvania. The state is full of nice streams, big mayfly hatches and great trout fishing. There is also a nice steelhead run out of the Great Lakes as well as excellent bass fishing across the state. PA may be the home to Big Y Fly Co's largest customer base. There are so many hidden gems in Pennsylvania that even the luckiest anglers could never find them all. Definitely a fishy state with a wonderful history of quality angling.
