Panfish
General Info: Panfish, Bluegill, Bream, Sunfish. The fish that goes by a dozen names and takes a dozen forms. Whatever you call it, there are probably some in a pond near you, and they are ready, willing and able to take a fly. There is nothing quite like catching panfish with a little rod and a little dry fly. If that 3wt rod you bought for mountain stream fishing is not getting enough use, throw it in your car and stop by the pond on the way home from work. Bream love to eat above their pay grade. They will voraciously attack flies that will clearly not even fit in their mouths. We love them for it.
