  • A pattern that rocketed into classic status within a few years after it hit the public.
  • Almost all hits on leech come from the head.
  • The action with the back hook snipped appears to be more enticing to fish.
  • A great Alaska and anywhere pattern.

Articulated leech
Articulated Leech Black / 2
In AK this year I fished these in size 2, purple. Have been fishing bunny leech's there for years and purple, my go to color depending on lighting. This, the first time with an articulated leech but always bunny leeches for Coho. The barbell eye got the fly down, very important. for me! The hook on this fly is located further back on the fly which in my opinion, creates more hookups. If you are fishing for Coho in AK, I don't think you can go wrong with these. Buy them now, because at the end of the season, no one has what you want. With these, when removing the hook make sure to grab the shank of the hook with pliers. Don't grab anywhere else on your fly or you will be tying another on.
