  • The Bandit Salmonfly is that should help improve your dry fly catch rate.
  • This is one of those patterns that may need some slight modifying to fit your needs, however, it is also great as is.
  • Made from a foam body so no need to worry about floatant.
  • The foam is left untrimmed in the front, so if skating flies is your thing this pattern should move some water.
  • The tail is left longer for a bit more attraction, however, a pair of nippers can clip it shorter if that is your preference.
  • Additionally the fly is hackled quite nicely with brown dry fly hackle.
  • Leave the hackle as is and let this pattern "dance” across the water (much like when they lay eggs).
  • Or trim the hackle and allow the pattern to lay flat on the water (as a bug depleted of energy would do).
