Even lighter than the original, the Force SL Series II breaks its own record as the lightest machined reel on the market. This next evolution in the Force Superlight lineage features a larger arbor for faster line pickup, while continuing to push Lamson’s long-running obsession: the highest possible retrieve rate-to-weight ratio.

Since the Force first hit the scene in 1997, this reel family has chased what Lamson considers the Holy Grail of fly reel performance — speed without sacrifice. While many super arbor reels add weight to gain retrieve rate, the Force SL Series II stays featherlight by being pure muscle and bone: no excess, no fluff, just structural strength exactly where it’s needed.

This updated version also features enhanced CNC-machined structural development, a more refined look, and smoother, more fluid styling — all backed by Lamson’s trusted Sealed Conical Drag System for consistent, dependable performance in any conditions.
