The Rod

Echo Trout Spey.

  • When the bugs aren't hatching and you want to fish sub surface, two-handed trout rods open up a whole new world of possibilities. They're not just fun to cast, Trout Spey rods offer line control and the ability cast in tight quarters that leave your nine foot rod in the dust. With a modest action and power these rods are equally at home flicking an emerger off the rod tip or chucking a Skagit head with some serious tungsten at the end. ECHO Trout Spey are the most advanced, lightest two hand rods we have ever made.

The Reel

Big Y General.

  • A sealed multi disc carbon fiber drag system keeps the grit out while applying all the stopping power one could possible need in a reel. The frame and spool are cut out of 6061-T6 aluminum specifically designed to increase backing capacity and keep weight down.  A caged frame is used to increase durability and keep mono from hopping out of the reel. Available in 5wt-10wt to cover the vast majority of fishing situations that call for a sealed drag.
