The Rod

Big Y Olympia

Olympia series switch rods are easy to cast, beautifully finished rods that experts and novices alike will appreciate. These rods are light and responsive, but more important they are sensitive, allowing the angler to feel the subtlest of takes. When you a need rod to drop that fly behind the right rock, or drift that nymph through a tight seam the Olympia is the tool for the job. 

The Reel

Big Y General

A sealed multi disc carbon fiber drag system keeps the grit out while applying all the stopping power one could possible need in a reel. The frame and spool are cut out of 6061-T6 aluminum specifically designed to increase backing capacity and keep weight down.  A caged frame is used to increase durability and keep mono from hopping out of the reel. Available in 5wt-10wt to cover the vast majority of fishing situations that call for a sealed drag.
