Yucatan / Ascension Bay / Belize - Spring 2026

We have our folks at FlyWater Travel scouring the schedules for 2026. We are looking to do a trip to the Caribbean coast, somewhere between Tulum, Mexico and Turneffe Flats, Belize.

We are aiming for April or May 2026 to give us prime shots at migratory tarpon on top of the excellent permit, bonefish and juvenile tarpon that are prevalent along the entire coast. We may end up in Mexico or Belize. The openings at these lodges are rare during prime time, but we are on the hunt.

Fishing Program

Bonefish are plentiful. Juvenile tarpon are the focus of many anglers. Permit fishing is as good as it gets. Migratory tarpon run from March through June or July

Accomodations

Details will follow. We have not booked anything specific yet. Waiting for openings.
