I bet most anglers would not put Georgia very high on the list of fishy states, but from the pictures we have seen, the dedicated anglers we have met and the stories we have heard, Georgia is where its at.
There are big brown trout in urban settings, very large trout in the mountains, excellent bass fishing throughout a good chunk of the rest of it, and some excellent redfish and tarpon fishing along the coast.
Its definitely worth it to bring along your fly rod if you get the chance to visit Georgia.
