Lamson Centerfire Fly Reel
Description
The Lamson Centerfire Fly Reel is a heavy-duty reel built for anglers who need dependable drag performance, plenty of backing capacity, and the durability to handle hard use in both freshwater and saltwater. From Alaska and Pyramid Lake to bonefish, permit, tarpon, and other powerful saltwater species, the Centerfire is designed to take abuse and keep working.
At its core is Lamson's Cobalt hybrid drag system, an IPX8-rated waterproof drag designed to keep water, salt, sand, and debris away from critical components. A large-format drag cone, carbon PEEK thrust washers, self-lubricating O-ring seals, and a zero-lash stainless steel roller clutch provide smooth, consistent pressure with plenty of stopping power when a big fish gets into the backing.
The fully CNC-machined frame uses Lamson's signature Power Arm construction and reinforced load path for strength where it's needed most. The large-arbor spool provides fast line retrieval and generous backing capacity, while extensive porting helps wet line and backing dry after a day on the water.
An oversized handle and large fluted drag knob make the Centerfire easy to operate when things get hectic. Hard anodizing provides additional protection against demanding saltwater environments.
Available in sizes 8, 10, and 12, the Lamson Centerfire is built for anglers looking for a serious workhorse reel for steelhead, salmon, large trout, and hard-fighting saltwater species.
