Lambo Bugger – Heavy, Fast-Sinking Streamer Fly

The Lambo Bugger is an extra-large, extra-heavy, ultra-flashy woolly bugger built for one thing: speed. Like all flies in the Lambo series, it has one gear—fast. With a very aggressive sink rate, this fly is designed to be stripped hard or swung through heavy current to stay off the bottom and in the strike zone.

Despite its weight, the Lambo Bugger fishes exceptionally well on a floating line, allowing anglers to control depth through retrieve speed. It can also be fished on intermediate or sinking lines when dredging deep holes in big, fast rivers is required.

This pattern shines in heavier trout streamer setups and is a proven producer for river smallmouth bass. The White Lambo Bugger—the original fly in the series—has accounted for multiple brown trout over 30 inches, cementing its reputation as a big-fish fly when size, speed, and flash matter.
