The Big Y Take: These boots are great for a few things. Using them at Christmas Island is NOT one of them. They will be destroyed in a week of walking on that sharp coral. They are great for float tubing and light beach fishing. We like them for rafting and kayaking as well. These should not be used as your main pair of wading boots if you are a typical trout angler.
