The RIO Premier Gold is a versatile, all-around trout fly line designed to handle everything from delicate dry-fly presentations to nymph rigs and longer casts. Its long head and extended rear taper provide excellent line control, stability, and mending ability, making it especially effective when managing longer drifts on rivers and lakes.
A refined front taper provides the delicacy needed to present smaller dry flies accurately, while the balanced body maintains enough power to turn over larger dries, dry-dropper setups, and light indicator rigs. The weight-forward floating (WF) design loads smoothly and offers predictable performance across a wide range of trout fishing situations.
