The Kaufmann Stone Rubber Legs Beadhead takes the proven steelhead stonefly profile and adds a beadhead for extra weight and attraction. Tied on an extra-strong, upturned-eye steelhead/salmon hook, it provides excellent strength while helping create clean leader-to-hook alignment.
Fish it dead-drifted and down deep through likely holding water, then let it finish the drift on the swing. The bead helps the fly sink quickly, while the rubber legs add movement and life throughout the presentation.
