Built on the trusted Orvis PRO Wading Boot platform, the PRO Hybrid Wading Boot combines the best of both worlds—Michelin® rubber traction and traditional felt grip—to deliver exceptional stability in demanding wading environments. Designed in collaboration with Michelin®, this advanced hybrid outsole system gives anglers reliable traction both in and out of the water.

The outsole features Michelin Outdoor Extreme wet rubber zones along the perimeter and under the toe for superior traction on trails, boat ramps, and riverbanks. Inside the rubber perimeter sits a high-performance felt traction zone that grips slick rocks and algae-covered riverbeds with confidence. This felt area also accommodates custom stud placement, allowing anglers to build a personalized traction system for extreme conditions.

The upper is constructed from quick-drying Clarino® microfiber, providing an excellent strength-to-weight ratio compared to traditional leather. A PU-cast upper design eliminates seams in high-wear areas, improving durability while creating a supportive cage that enhances stability without unnecessary bulk.

Comfort and sustainability come together in the Bloom® Rise algae-based foam midsole, which provides excellent cushioning while helping remove up to 30 gallons of water pollutants per pair during production. A 3D-molded OrthoLite® X25 insole adds additional support and shock absorption for long days on the river.

A higher-cut design enhances ankle support, while closed-cell foam lining absorbs less water and dries faster between uses. Reinforced scratch rubber at the toe cap and heel improves abrasion resistance, and an oversized heel pull makes getting the boots on and off easier.
