The Olive Quilldigon combines the slim, fast-sinking profile of a perdigon with a segmented quill body for a more natural appearance. It’s an excellent choice when you want the efficiency of a competition-style nymph without the overly bright or flashy look of many perdigon patterns. This tactical, tungsten jig is preferred by Devin Olsen among other competition anglers.
The olive coloration and clean segmentation make this a versatile imitation of small mayfly nymphs and other aquatic insects. Fish it as an anchor fly, on a tight-line rig, or anywhere you need a small nymph to get down quickly while maintaining a natural profile.
