Lochsa is a premium all-around gel floatant that even works on CDC. It won't mat dry flies made with CDC and is perfect for treating any type of feathers, hair, hackle, or yarn. Lochsa will provide maximum floatation without the slightest hindrance on appearance. It is silicone based, and won't melt in the heat or harden when it's cold.

Best floatant
Way better than Gink or any other floatant I've used. You need to apply them all before the fly is wet and with enough time for it to dry. But this keeps anything with elk/deer hair floating for hours. And it leaves a nice coating on your fingers. Be careful tying knots and getting this coating on parts of your leader you intend to sink, as will all floatant.
