BV Mantis Shrimp

A modern take on the proven Veverka’s Mantis Shrimp, the BV Mantis Shrimp is built for anglers targeting aggressive saltwater species that aren’t shy about crushing a meal. This pattern keeps the realistic profile and movement of the original, while dialing in durability and fishability for repeated abuse in the surf, flats, and around structure.

Designed to ride hook point up, it gets down quickly and stays in the strike zone—right where mantis shrimp naturally live. The lifelike materials create a subtle pulse and kick on the strip, making it an easy target for anything cruising the bottom.

• Inspired by Veverka’s Mantis Shrimp with a slightly refined profile and improved durability
• Hook point up design helps avoid snags and fish structure confidently
• Weighted for a quick sink rate to get down where fish are feeding
• Natural movement and profile that triggers reaction strikes
• Built on saltwater-ready hooks to handle strong, fast fish

A reliable choice for species like permit, bonefish, redfish, and anything keyed in on crustaceans. When fish are feeding low and picky, this is the kind of pattern that gets eaten.
