West Virginia's rugged mountains and clear, fast-flowing rivers make it one of the East's most underrated fly fishing destinations. The state's best-known trout waters include the Elk, Cranberry, Williams, Shavers Fork, and Greenbrier Rivers, along with countless smaller mountain streams tucked away in the Monongahela National Forest.
