Euro Hot Butt Zebra Midge (Jigged, Barbless)

When the bite gets technical, midges still get eaten.

The Euro Hot Butt Zebra Midge is a jig-style, barbless midge built for modern nymphing — fast sink, clean drift, and rock-solid hookups. Tied in classic black, this fly keeps the natural, buggy silhouette trout expect… while the hot butt trigger (hot pink or hot green) adds just enough contrast to get noticed.

The jig hook rides point-up to help reduce snags, making it perfect for tight-bottom drifts in tailwaters, winter rivers, and any situation where trout are feeding small and picky.

Choose your trigger:

• Hot Pink Butt – bold, high-visibility, great in stained water or low light

• Hot Green Butt – subtle but deadly, especially in clear water

Best for:

• Euro nymphing

• Indicator rigs

• Tailwaters, winter trout, pressured fish

Why it works:

• Jigged profile = fewer hang-ups

• Barbless for easy releases

• Classic zebra midge body with a modern hot spot twist
