Echo OverCast Fly Rod
ECHO OverCast Fly Rod Series
High-Performance Saltwater Fly Rods Built for Maximum Line Speed
The ECHO OverCast Fly Rod Series was born from a simple challenge posed by legendary saltwater angler Flip Pallot: “Who wouldn’t want more line speed?”
Designed in collaboration with Tim Rajeff, the OverCast fly rods are purpose-built for anglers facing real-world saltwater demands—wind, distance, accuracy, and heavy flies. From open flats to rough coastal conditions, these rods are engineered to deliver power and precision when it matters most.
After extensive testing, the design team identified the key to increased line speed: a precisely engineered longer lever. The result is a 9’3” saltwater fly rod that balances power, control, and casting efficiency without compromise. The added length generates higher line speed, tighter loops, and improved accuracy—especially when casting into wind or carrying large, air-resistant flies.
Flip Pallot pushed ECHO beyond traditional rod design limits, prioritizing performance over cost and redefining what a premium saltwater fly rod should be.
