The full-cage frame is the real difference-maker here. It eliminates the spool/line-guard gaps that thin-diameter running lines love to slip through β meaning no more line escapes, no more jams, and no more failures at the worst possible moment.
Both the Speedster S HD and standard Speedster S feature a taller, narrower profile compared to other reels in Lamsonβs lineup β a format that balances fast pickup, clean line stacking, and a strong, stable feel on the rod.
