Redington Tilt Euro Nymph Reel
Description
The Redington TILT Euro Nymph Reel is purpose-built for Euro nymphing, with a full-frame design, ultra-large arbor, and an adjustable weight system that lets us fine-tune the balance of longer Euro rods.
Balance is especially important with 10- and 11-foot nymphing rods, and the TILT includes three removable one-ounce weights that allow the reel to be customized to the rod and personal preference. Add or remove weights until the outfit sits comfortably in hand, reducing the tip-heavy feel common with longer, lightweight rods.
The fully machined 6061-T6 aluminum full frame keeps thin Euro and competition lines contained, preventing them from slipping between the spool and frame. A narrow, ultra-large arbor provides quick line retrieval while helping line lay evenly across the spool.
A smooth carbon fiber drag system provides the light, controlled pressure needed to protect fine tippets while offering enough stopping power to handle larger trout. Redington also rounds the edges of the reel foot to help protect leaders and line when wrapped around the reel for storage.
For anglers building a dedicated Euro nymphing setup, the Redington TILT combines the line control of a full-frame reel with one of its most useful features: the ability to adjust reel weight and properly balance the entire outfit.
