The Half Chubby takes the proven profile and buoyancy of the classic Chubby Chernobyl and trims it down into a smaller, more natural presentation. Built with a hackle-wrapped abdomen, this pattern rides lower in the film while still offering enough floatation to suspend a small dropper.

It is an excellent choice during summer attractor fishing, golden stone activity, hopper season, or anytime trout are keyed in on smaller terrestrial and foam-bodied dries. The slimmer silhouette and added movement from the hackle make it especially effective on pressured fish that refuse oversized foam patterns.
