Mitchell’s Blanco Itchy & Scratchy Weighted

Proven Flats Shrimp Pattern for Permit, Bonefish & Triggerfish

Mitchell’s Blanco Itchy & Scratchy Weighted is a proven flats utility pattern that’s earned its reputation the hard way—through years of real-world success on tough fish in skinny water.

As Michael puts it:
“A crittery/shrimp pattern that one can ‘swim’ or ‘crawl’.”

That versatility is exactly what makes the Itchy & Scratchy so deadly. Fish it with short strips to imitate a fleeing shrimp, or slow it down and let it crawl along the bottom when fish are tailing, tracking, or refusing faster presentations.

Tested and trusted for over a decade by some of the best anglers in the game, this fly has become a true go-to for flats species around the world—especially permit, bonefish, and triggerfish.

If you fish saltwater flats and want one pattern that consistently gets eaten, this is a must-have.
