  • Everyone, in mean everyone, has a pheasant tail nymph in a fly box.
  • The Cove's Pheasant Tail is yet another pattern spawned from the ingenious pheasant tail.
  • Many of you may be familiar with the Sawyer's Pheasant and it's productivity in rivers and streams. The Cove's Pheasant Tail is considered by many as the Sawyer's Pheasant Tail of lakes, ponds, and reservoirs.
  • It is meant to be a chrinomid imitation, however, we believe it will also work similarly as a pheasant tail emerger.
  • It's curved hook gives it that emergence and should be fished whenever you see baetis or chrinomids coming off the water.
