Brooks Brininstool using a size 6 Clouser Minnow Chartreuse/White, this Jack Crevalle was caught in Mexico.
He writes:
"Thanks so much for shipping my recent order so quickly! I've been in Playa del Carmen, MX for the last week and I wanted to share a pic with you. I've been fishing all my life, but I am still very new to fly fishing. I ordered several different flies from you before my trip, including a chartreuse/yellow size 6 Clouser Minnow. I was casting it in the surf on my 6wt flyrod, and hooked this bad boy! It was an incredible fight with almost 10 minutes of give-and-take before I landed this Jack Crevalle. I couldn't wait to come back and share the pic with you."
