Fly Fishing Pyramid Lake, NV
General Info: Its the best remaining location on earth to catch a Lahonthan Cutthroat Trout in it's native habitat.
These monster cutthroat trout once were abundant in the great inland Bonneville Sea.
The sea has dried up mostly, and what remains are a few highly-alkaline lakes in Nevada and Utah. These Lahonthans require the alkalinity to survive, and they can grow to massive sizes.
It is definitely a place that you want to fish at least once.
