Grab Bag Fly Assortment
Over the course of the year, we end up with loads of flies that are not quite what the recipe called for. Perfectly fishable, but maybe they are not a perfect match for our stock.
These grab bags are full of great patterns. There are several reasons why they end up in a grab bag, such as:
- The pattern was discontinued
- This batch came in on the wrong style of hook (Like a 2x long instead of 3x long)
- Material or color is not quite correct. Maybe dubbing body instead of chenille.
- The size or color is not in the catalog
- The flies were returned (We never stock used flies, but if someone returns an entire order, we will throw them all into the grab bag piles)
- They were on the counter and someone did not put them back in the drawer.
- Samples of new patterns we are developing
These flies should all be in great, fishable shape. There are a minimum of 20 streamer and closer to 30 trout flies in any grab bag, and some have plenty more.
Streamer grab bags may have anything from trout streamers to saltwater patterns, bass poppers, salmon and steelhead flies and more.
Trout grab bags may have dries, nymphs, beadhead nymphs, emergers, and egg patterns in it.
Please note that these are pre-made and we cannot modify or exchange anything in these assortments.
