Dark Hendrickson
- This pattern was named after Albert Everett Hendrickson of New York.
- First tied in 1916 to imitate the mayfly Ephermella subvaria, now commonly referred to as the "Hendrickson".
- A great mayfly general purpose imitator, tied with wood duck wings proven time and again to fool even the most hesitant trout.
- attractor year around ala Adams.
- Also use for Ephemerella needhami or Little Dark Hendrickson that hatches in June and July in many streams around NY, PA, MI etc.
